Kink Awareness: Kink-KnowledgeableWhat does this mean?

For stigma-free space and a knowledgeable, holistic teaching guide, Luke, trained in several holistic disciplines and a lifetime member of the Association for Transpersonal Psychology, can help you with Sexuality Counseling, Substance Use Issues, Mood Issues, Relationship Coaching, and Expressing Your Best Potential. He affirms sexual and gender diversity and is polyamory-friendly (as well as other forms of relationship structure).

F. Luke Adams, Jr. is a behavioral health specialist, sexuality counselor, addiction specialist, author, educator, community activist, and Jungian-immersed Spiritualist pastor. He is co-founder of EMERGE: The Adams-Tynan Clinical Foundation (ATCF), which does work in San Francisco, Chicago and Washington, DC. Luke is available for face-to-face appointments in frequently in San Francisco, and is always available by confidential, HIPAA-compliant video sessions for tele-health. At ATCF, work on many areas of coaching and counseling but we want you to know; If you have a severe substance use disorder, your addiction doesn't care about you, but we do.

Whatever issues bring you for support, Luke believes in helping you find your own personal operational level of sexual and emotional risk and develop your individual and relationship(s) standard of sexual health (especially when you come to us in distress from sexual behaviors you find problematic). "Sex is nice, and pleasure is good," as Janet Hardy and Dossie Easton wrote. If/when alcohol and other mind-altering drugs have become a problem, Luke shares expertise as a scout on your path through the stages of change. No existential questions, search for best potential, or spiritual issue is irrelevant to work on.

Luke's forthcoming book, from Down There Press, is expected in early 2016 - Sobersexual: How to still be dirty after you gotten clean.

F. Luke Adams, Jr. is a California registered Intern in Marriage and Family Therapy (IMF67708) Supervised by Alida "Lee" Hewitt, LCSW (17937)
