Bylaws Revision and Budget!

In an interest for more transparency and to include the public and our constituency in our process, we are publishing out budget and bylaws revision on our blog and newsletter.  We hope to engage you, our community in our work, both to encourage you to become involved in the fight for sexual freedom, but also to let you knwo that the fight is being fought, and that we are here backing you all every step of the way.

Bylaws Revised SUMMARY:

Article VI

Sec. 3: Voting Partners are now called “Coalition Partners”, and are required to have dues current.

Sec 6. Members must be current on dues to be a Coalition Partner.

Article VII

Sec 3. The new joint board has 13 Directors on the Board. 9 of these are elected by CPs, and 4 are appointed by the elected Board.

Sec. 4.  Appointed Board members are elected annually, by majority vote of the Board of Directors, with a term lasting one year-- successive terms is allowed.

Sec. 5.  Elected seats on the board will always be elected at the next annual meeting, and appointed seats on the board will always stay appointed.

Sec. 6.  A person on the Board of     Directors can be removed at any Board Meeting, where there is quorum, and an affirmative vote of at least 60%.

Sec. 8.  The Chairman of the Board must be an elected member of the board.
