I come from a sex-positive perspective. I believe that sex is a normal, natural, essential part of healthy living that is not limited to culturally prescribed norms. Sex is a great thing as long as it happens between consensual adults. My speciality is working with gays and lesbians, sexual trauma, sexual compulsivity, and issues related to gender. Additionally, I am knowledgable about many diverse lifestyles and practices (poly, open relationships, leather, BD, SM, fetish, etc) and pride myself on my openness and acceptance regarding the diversity of people in the world, especially as it relates to sexuality.

I currently work as a staff therapist at the Council for Relationship's Institute for Sex Therapy seeing individuals and couples for issues related to sexual function/dysfunction, sexual orientation, gender variance, intimacy issues, sexual trauma, and a wide variety of other issues. In addition to my practice, I also teach on human sexuality, the psychology of gender, counseling, and abnormal psychology at Widener University and Saint Joseph's University. I received my doctorate in clinical psychology and masters of education in human sexuality both from Widener University. For a more extensive look at my perspective on treatment, visit the website I have listed. If you have any questions or would like to set up an initial appointment, please feel free to contact me through phone or email.
