I hold a Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy (1988) BACP Snr Accred Couns/Psychotherapist (accred since 1986) I was made a Fellow of BACP which is their highest award for my "significant contribution to the field".

I have been working as a psychotherapist and sex therapist for over 30 years specialising in working with a wide range of gender and sexual diversity clients. I work in a sexuality affirmative manner with a wide range of clients and presenting concerns.

I have co-edited three leading British textbooks about work with gender and sexual diversity clients and regularly contribute articles to journals and books.

I am CEO of Pink Therapy the largest independent therapy organisation specialising in work with gender and sexual diversities in the UK. My organisation has been involved in training therapists in BDSM/Kink Issues alongside general psychosexual work and I've been facilitating a series of seminars and peer supervision meetings for BDSM/Kink Aware therapists for over four years.

In 2015 I presented at CARAS Conference in Chicago and our own conference on Diverse Sexualities and Lifestyles on Professional and Personal Boundaries of Living and Working in the Kink/Gay Communities and a more general video on BDSM and Sexual Pleasure was presented at the British Psychological Society Psychology of Sexualities conference in Dec 2013

I'm happy to work with individuals couples and people in poly relationships of all gender and sexual identities. I'm interested in non-pathologising approaches to BDSM/Kink/Fetish as well as sexual compulsivity or 'sexual addiction'.
