I am a licensed professional counselor in the District of Columbia and the state of IL. Fulfillment for me is helping my clients achieve the skills and techniques they need to feel satisfied, able to manage their situations and acquire their goals. I come from a varied background having worked in fields from martial arts instructor to zoo keeper but always in the teaching and caregiver role. In 2007, I switched gears and acquired my Masters in Forensic Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. During my internship, work and life experience I’ve gained knowledge in treating a forensic population, survivors of violence/trauma/abuse, major mental health disorders, depression, anxiety, stress and working with those in the LGBTQ, kink and poly/ethical non-monogamy populations. I have a particular interest in working with clients for sex therapy, poly or ethical non-monogamy relationships and gender identity growth.
