Treatment philosophy
My counseling style is warm, empathetic, integrative, pragmatic and client-based. I believe that a therapeutic relationship should be a collaborative one in which my clients and I work together to discover creative strategies, solutions and, at times, even humorous insight to help them cope with their challenges and struggles.  I have experience counseling adults, families and couples coping with grief, trauma, and addiction. My work draws its influence from the counseling theories and styles of Carl Rogers, Virginia Satir and Murray Bowen.

Existentialism, LGBTQIA concerns, sexuality and recovery are areas that I am interested in exploring with clients.

I also offer sex-positive counseling and am open to working with clients in BDSM, poly and kink partnerships.   I understand that humans express love for each another in a wide range of unique and fulfilling relationships.
