Kink Awareness: Kink-FriendlyWhat does this mean?

What I enjoy most about being a therapist is building relationships with people, and creating an environment in which my clients can build trust and learn more about themselves through the process. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York with a Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University. I have extensive experience working within queer communities, as well as with those who have lived through trauma, and I have received advanced clinical training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I have worked as a therapist in both nonprofit and community outpatient settings which has allowed me to see clients across a wide array of races, ethnicities, sexualities, and gender identities. I have also had the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams focused on making professional environments more inclusive and understanding of people’s lived experience.
