If there’s one thing we’ve never been good at, it’s limiting ourselves. We eat too much junk food, watch too much T.V., and engage in all manner of self-indulgence. So why then, do we continue to adhere to the limitations of monogamy? If love is so grand, why not celebrate a lifestyle which encourages loving multiple partners?
Polyamory is this lifestyle and those involved need not bother with such questions. But with the joys of limitless romantic partners comes unique challenges as well; both in maintaining multiple relationships and in facing societal biases towards the practice. This hour, we speak with practitioners and relationship experts about the pros and cons of polyamory.
GUESTS:
Robyn Trask – Executive Director of Loving More Nonprofit, a national leader for polyamory awareness and education
