Consent Academy – Creating Consent Policy

Consent Policy is your organization’s statement for people about how consent should be practiced in your space and during your events. It’s essentially the informed consent you give people so they know what the expectations and assumptions are. And, it lets people know what happens when those expectations are broken. Simple concept. Complex execution. This workshop provides a template for creating a basic consent policy. We’ll talk about best practices, things to watch out for, and templates for policy creation. We’ll even build an example policy together. If your organization doesn’t have a written consent policy, or yours is out of date, take this class.
