It’s time to push back even harder against religious bigotry and discrimination. Our case in federal court is the first case that will establish and expand sexual privacy rights for all. Other than Lawrence 2003 there has been no legal precedent to establish sexual privacy rights and Lawrence only covers gay sex whereas our case covers EVERYONE. What adults do sexually and consensually in private should be acknowledged as being protected by the constitution. Sex workers will be decriminalized in the process too- no more arrests for adult consensual sex workers however the primary crux of the case will be a legal precedent that will establish and expand sexual privacy rights up against antiquated laws which have discriminated against sexual behaviors not centered around religious ideologies! I just wonder in this day of supposed enlightenment and supposed understanding when people will realize that same-sex marriages and unions are part of the human condition. I know the old saw about Gawd creating Adam & Eve & not Adam & Steve, but get over yourselves people, we are human first given with feelings and emotions that are ageless and timeless. Love as we call it is not a emotion that is given to any select group, it is a free wheeling emotion that effect everyone be they male or female. The hormones and brain chemicals that ru8n through our bodies are the indicators of who we love and why. All the laws and regressive nonsense in the world cannot nor will not deter the natural desirse and feelings as people we have….embrace and accept……30
i often think it would be helpful to advise such people in terms they’ll understand: if you alienate given sector of the population, that’s a sector of the population that will not give you their money in exchange for your goods and services. only those you make feel welcome will willingly give you their business. you don’t get filthy rich by alienating large and growing groups of people.
