Participate in a Research Study

Participate in an online interview study to tell us about LGBTQIA+ individuals’ experiences with mental health providers when discussing topics related to suicide.

UNC Charlotte researchers seek to understand factors related to suicidal ideation and suicide attempt among individuals identifying as LGBTQIA+. You may participate if you (a) are aged 18 years or older, (b) are a lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual and diverse individual, (c) have previously discussed suicidal thoughts and/or behaviors with a mental health provider, (d) can read and speak English, and (e) currently live in the U.S.

Time commitment: 5-10 minute screening questionnaire and, if eligible, you may be invited via email to an interview via Zoom that will last approximately 60-75 minutes.

Those who complete an interview will be compensated with a $50 Amazon e-gift card.
